There are tons of healthy drinks options in the market today. We are all trying to live a better and healthier life. I will introduce you to some rare healthy drinks which are quick to make and come with huge health benefits . A perfect solution for you at the end of your daily work out. Also a great healthy option for team building.

Using the following ingredients together we will create

- RoohAfza Lassi a Yogurt Shake using chia seeds
- RoohAfza Tukhmalanga - using Chia Seeds
- RoohAfza Fruit Drink - with Strawberries
- RoohAfza Banana Milk Shake - using 1% Milk, Walnuts and Vanilla Ice cream
- Pineapple Lemon with Mint Juice
- Mango Lassi using fresh mangos and natural yogurt
- Healthy Tea with Cinnamon, Cardamom and Mint

RoofAfza Natural Drinks

in Persian language, rooh means soul and afza means that which nourishes the soul or enhances-uplifts your spirit. so the word rooh afza literally translates to one that nourishes the soul or enhances and uplifts the spirit and it really does justice to its name.

RoohAfza is a sweet rose scented syrup that is made with fruits, vegetables, herbs and vetiver rootDrink was developed by Herbal Dr. Hafiz Abdul Majeed in 1907 in India and was later manufactured by Hamdard Laboratories of Karachi Pakistan.

The dark rose colored syrup is thick in it's texture and very sweet, so the syrup has to be dissolved in water or milk. the aromatic and herbal flavors of this drink is something that you have to try. The drink has been popular in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh for decades and made its solid platform because of its unique taste, fragrance and unraveled health qualities. Now I am introducing it in the U.S.


Roofafza Drinks

RoofAfza Syrup Ingredients:
RoohAfza is made from the combination of fruits, herbs, vegetables, flowers and vetiver root. The unique components of this cooling drink are as follows ...

Fruits: Many fruits are used as the components for the drink. The different fruits are pineapple, apple, berries, orange, watermelon, citron, strawberry, raspberry, loganberry, cherry, concord grapes and blackcurrant.

Herbs: The herbs group ingredients contain European white lily (Nymphaea alba), Blue star water lily ( Nymphaea nouchali), lotus (Nelumbo), purslane/tukhm-e-khurfa (Portulaca oleracea seeds), coriander, chicory (Vitis vinifera), and borage

Vegetables: The important vegetables, which are the part of this herbal syrup, are carrot, spinach, mint and Luffa aegyptiaca

Flowers: Flowers are also the integral part of this delicious drink. It covers rose, lemon, orange and (keora) Pandanus fascicularis

The health benefits of lemons are due to its many nourishing elements like vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin A, vitamin E, folate, niacin thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, copper, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, phosphorus and protein.
Pineapple offer the following health benefits:
Pineapples' nutritional benefits are as fascinating as their anatomy. “Pineapples contain high amounts of vitamin C and manganese,” said San Diego-based nutritionist Laura Flores. These tropical treats are also a good way to get important dietary fiber and bromelain (an enzyme).


Mango Lassi

This is all time popular drink from South East Asia. It is healthy and very tasty. Prepared with fresh mangos and natural yogurt.

Prevents Cancer: Research has shown antioxidant compounds in mango fruit have been found to protect against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers.

Fresh Tea with Cinnamon & Cardamom

Together we will prepare fresh tea using cinnamon, cardamom and fresh mint. There is no substitute for fresh. This is extremely healthy option for any time of the day. One tea a day will keep the doctor away.

Yogurt, a natural dairy product that originated thousands of years ago, is thought to have first occurred accidentally when milk that was being stored in animal skins curdled from the action of bacteria, according to the University of Georgia. Sometimes referred to as the "original health food," yogurt is an integral part of the traditional cuisines of some cultures, notably eastern European and west Asian, and offers a wealth of potential health benefits. Packed with vitamins, fiber, and particularly high levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols, strawberries are a sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, low-calorie food. They are among the top 20 fruits in antioxidant capacity and are a good source of manganese and potassium. Just one serving -- about eight strawberries -- provides more vitamin C than an orange.

This member of the rose family isn’t really a fruit or a berry but the enlarged receptacle of the flower. Plus, bananas provide antioxidants, potassium and other nutritional benefits. Adding walnuts increases your protein and healthy-fats intake. Use of Stevia

I tend use natural ingredients as much as possible. I use Stevia as substitute for sugar in my drinks.

What is Stevia and associated benefits
Stevia is perhaps unique among food ingredients because it's most valued for what it doesn't do. It doesn't add calories. Unlike other sugar substitutes, stevia is derived from a plant.

The stevia plant is part of the Asteraceae family, related to the daisy and ragweed. Several stevia species called "candyleaf" are native to New Mexico, Arizona and Texas.

But the prized species, Stevia rebaudiana (Bertoni), grows in Paraguay and Brazil, where people have used leaves from the stevia bush to sweeten food for hundreds of years. In traditional medicine in these regions, stevia also served as a treatment for burns, colic, stomach problems and sometimes as a contraceptive.

We need at least 10 persons to initiate a class. All ingredients will be included in the class. At the end of the class you will get take a bottle of RoohAfza with you. A $15 value.

I do travel outside of Washington DC area to hold workshops. However minimum 20 persons are required to initiate the workshop and depends on the distance.
